Let’s give up sugar and artificial sweeteners for 10 days! Beginning on Monday, November 11 we will all go on a sweet retreat together. Throw out the extra Halloween candy and transform your taste buds before the holidays!
We will cut out all foods with added sugars (anything added in manufacturing such as candy, cookies, baked goods but also ketchup, BBQ sauce, flavored yogurt, coffee creamer, instant oatmeal and much more) and artificial sweeteners (anything labeled “sugar free”, sweet-n-low, truvia, stevia, gum, candy, mints). We won’t focus on what we can’t eat, but instead on all of the delicious real, whole foods we can eat.
You can do it! You will quickly realize how many foods we consume daily have added sweetness and how addictive they really are.
I recommend doing this challenge with a friend or group of people for the accountability and support. Ask a friend, co-worker or even your entire family or department at work! The more people doing this with you the easier it will be.
