Spring Clean Your Diet! Healthy Swaps

Check your pantry and refrigerator to see what products have more than 5 ingredients, what ingredients you don’t recognize and how to make a healthier swap!

  • Instant oatmeal -> old fashioned oats
  • Soda -> Kombucha 
  • Ice cream -> Banana ice cream 
  • Yogurt -> Chia seed pudding 
  • Milk chocolate -> Dark chocolate 
  • Veggie Chips/chips and dip -> Veggies and Hummus 
  • Fruit flavored water -> Fruit infused water 
  • Sweetener -> Honey or pure Maple Syrup
  • Packaged cookie -> Dark chocolate chip cookie

  • -2 eggs 
  • -2 tsp cinnamon
  • -3/4 cup oat flour
  • -handful of whole oats
  • -2/3 cup pumpkin
  • -1 1/2 mashed banana 
  • -1/2 tsp salt
  • -3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • -1 tsp baking powder
  • -Dark chocolate chips
  • Mix all ingredients, batter will be somewhat runny. Scoop onto parchment paper and bake at 350 for 13 minutes or until baked through.

Mix all ingredients together in food processor!
